Ask anyone on our crew what the best part of the job is and you will hear about the moment the forms come off a stamped patio and the stone pattern shows up sharp and even, with the shading settled into the grooves just right. That is the part people notice and photograph.
But we have learned that the part people notice only stays beautiful if the part nobody sees is done right. So we put just as much pride into the dig, the crushed stone packed in layers, the thickness and steel, the fall that carries water away from the house and the days of curing before anyone uses the slab. Put a gorgeous stamp on a lazy base and it splits and lifts within a few winters, and the richest tint goes chalky on concrete that dried too quickly.
That same standard carries over to everything else we pour: driveways rebuilt from the base up, front walks that stay level, footings for additions and garages, and commercial walks and pads for the businesses around Summit.
