Concrete Work in Summit and Surrounding Towns

Summit, Lyons, Riverside, Brookfield, Stickney, Bridgeview and the neighborhoods along Archer Avenue and the Stevenson.

Summit Concrete Contractor forms and finishes stamped patios, walks, drives, footings, flatwork and commercial slabs in Summit and the surrounding communities: Bedford Park, Lyons, McCook, Forest View, Bridgeview, Stickney, Riverside, Justice, Hodgkins and Brookfield. It is a part of Cook County with a little of everything, from the brick bungalows and two-flats near Archer Avenue to the leafy curving streets of Riverside, the industrial yards along the canal and the busy commercial frontage on Harlem. What ties it together for our crew is the ground: heavy, damp soil in the river valley and hard winters that punish any slab without a proper base.

Older blocks, original concrete

Many homes here still have their first walks and drives, and a lot of them are ready to be rebuilt properly.

Damp valley ground

Near the river and canal, soil holds water and heaves with frost. A deep packed stone base protects the slab.

The same crew every time

One Standard Across Every Town We Pour In

Our crew does not change the recipe from one village to the next. A stamped patio in Riverside and one in Stickney get the same excavation, the same packed stone, the same careful fall away from the house and the same sealer at the end. A driveway in Lyons and one in Bridgeview get the same tear-out, rebuilt base, steel and vehicle-grade thickness.

What changes from street to street is the site itself. A narrow gangway between bungalows means planning how the concrete reaches the backyard. A lot near the river needs extra attention to drainage. A storefront on Harlem needs its walk replaced in sections. We visit each property in person before we price it.
